TGIF (I hate that phrase, true as it may be)
This week has been very frustrating. At work, we're trying to integrate our software with new hardware and there is a never-ending stream of problems. And though it's not really said aloud, there's a lot of finger-pointing and whatnot over whether they're software or hardware problems. So far they're mostly hardware problems (which are quite a pain to diagnose, I might add.) Aside from all that, we had a major ant problem that has since been cleared up and Matt's had a rough week at work, too (he's just really, really busy.)
Tonight we went to TGI Friday's for dinner for Kristen's birthday (my brother's girlfriend.) They're off to Destin tomorrow for a week for a friend's wedding. I'm kinda jealous. I could use a vacation.
Today was "Take your kids to work" day at work today. It was really strange seeing little kids all over the place. I've never worked anywhere that did that before. Of course the lab I work in is classified so there weren't any kids in there, but they seemed to be everywhere else. It made me a little sad, actually, to see all those kids there with their parents and I have to remind myself how much older all these people are than me.
One of my good friends since elementary school (Nicole) is pregnant (about 4 or 5 months now.) She's going to have a girl and I'm very excited for her. I'm helping to throw her shower in a few months.
That's about it. I finally got that cable for my camera (thank you Amazon) so hopefully I'll get some house pics up soon. Until then, here are some pictures:
